Meet Joshua Charles Hart, February’s Master Artist.
Joshua paints from his West Hollywood studio, pug by his side, and his children not far thereafter. To call him just a painter, however, would be an injustice to his craft and his adept woodwork. In addition to his works on canvas, Joshua carries his omnipresent rainbow-esque color spectrum and cast of creatures and characters onto wood in the form of square blocks, tiny houses, and sculpture.
His instagram is full of projects and paintings made in Studio Lucille. Joshua named his studio after his mother, Lucille, who also appears in his artwork in the form of a polar bear (see below).
